Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the business in many areas in operational activity. Role will include and not limited to:
- Degreasing Components
- Chemical Cleaning and Processing
- Operating Heat Treatment Ovens
- Operating hardness tester
- Operating Drop Quench Ovens
- Prepping units for inspection.
- Operating Vac dry oven.
- TPM (Total Preventative Maintenance)
- EH&S (Environmental, Health & Safety Compliance)
The right applicant will be trained in all the necessary disciplines of all processes and EH&S.
The applicant must be prepared to work shifts (AM/PM/Nights) when required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Good level of numeracy and literacy.
- Manufacturing industry experience is advantageous.
- Working to a high level of accuracy.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable to work shifts when required.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
- Possesses the necessary enthusiasm, drive and desire to succeed and discipline to achieve significant results for the organisation.
- To ensure compliance with Company Health & Safety and Environmental policies.
- Must be an excellent team player and confident communicator at all levels.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure.

- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
- Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
- Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
