This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced General Practice Director looking to take the final step into Partnership, or an established Partner seeking a fresh challenge within one of the South East's most respected and progressive accountancy practices.

As General Practice Partner, you'll oversee a varied portfolio of ambitious businesses and entrepreneurs, providing commercially focused advice while leading and developing high performing teams. Alongside delivering exceptional client service, you'll play a pivotal role in driving business growth, strengthening client relationships and contributing to the firm's long term strategic direction.
With multiple offices across the South East and London and a team of over 250 professionals, the firm has built an outstanding reputation for delivering high quality accounting, tax and business advisory services. Key Responsibilities
Client Portfolio & Advisory
- Manage, develop and grow a diverse portfolio of clients, including large and technically complex businesses.
- Act as a trusted adviser, delivering commercially focused accounting and business advice.
- Build long term client relationships through proactive engagement and tailored service offerings.
- Deliver innovative solutions that add value and support clients' strategic objectives.

Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, inspire and mentor high performing teams across the practice.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive and high performing culture.
- Support the development of future leaders through coaching and professional development.
- Promote collaboration across service lines to deliver the best outcomes for clients.
Business Development & Growth
- Drive new business generation and expand existing client relationships.
- Build a strong pipeline of opportunities through networking and relationship management.
- Promote cross service collaboration to maximise client value.
- Support the continued growth and strategic development of the practice.
Operational & Commercial Management
- Ensure efficient delivery of high quality client work while maintaining strong risk management standards.
- Champion the adoption of digital tools and technology to improve efficiency and client experience.
- Take responsibility for managing WIP, recoverability, fees and lock up across your portfolio.
- Ensure work is appropriately priced while maintaining strong commercial performance and profitability.
Requirements
Skills & Experience
- ACA or ACCA qualified.
- Significant experience operating at Director or Partner level within accountancy practice.
- Strong technical background across general practice, with previous audit and tax experience and a primary specialism in accounts preparation.
- Proven experience managing and growing a substantial client portfolio.
- Demonstrable success in business development and winning new work.
- Strong leadership skills with experience developing and motivating high performing teams.
- Commercially minded with excellent strategic and relationship management skills.
- Strong problem solving and decision making abilities with a proactive and results driven approach.
- Experience working within a medium sized practice or matrix organisation would be advantageous.
