General Practitioner – Boots Bupa Health Centre, Halifax
Location: Boots – Halifax, HX1 1PB Contract: Permanent, Part-Time Hours: Minimum 4 sessions per week Salary: Competitive + Fantastic Benefits

Key Responsibilities
You’ll focus on delivering exceptional primary care in our Boots-based clinic, with responsibilities including:
- Delivering high-quality, face-to-face GP consultations with a focus on patient satisfaction
- Providing clinical advice and guidance to colleagues (e.g., health advisors and admin staff)
- Undertaking clinical work aligned with NHS standards and best practices
- Participating in training, meetings, and audits as required
- Ensuring adjoining duties such as:
- Attending annual clinical reviews and competence assessments
- Contributing to quality improvement activities
- Supporting patient safety protocols including safeguarding training

Requirements & Experience
To thrive in this collaborative GP role, you need:
Essential Qualifications & Foundations:
✅ Current GMC GP Registration ✅ Member of a Medical Defence Organisation ✅ Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate ✅ Adult & Children Safeguarding Level 3 certificate ✅ A calm, empathetic, professional demeanor (patience and obsession with clinical excellence) ✅ Proficiency with IT systems: e-records, e-prescribing, MS Office
Experience & Skills:
- Proven clinical judgment and experience in general practice
- Current Commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
- Demonstrated time management + ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting
- Relevant experience of providing patient-centred care
