General Practitioner
General Practitioner – Bupa Health Centre, Watford (Part-Time)
Location: Boots Watford, WD17 2TR Contract: Permanent, Part-Time Hours: Minimum 4x weekly sessions Salary: Competitive Salary + Fantastic Benefits

As an experienced General Practitioner, you’ll contribute to primary care, delivering exceptional consultations and making a meaningful impact on patients’ lives. Unlike traditional GP roles, you’ll be part of a network of over 200 GPs substituting for both insured and uninsured customers across the UK’s Bupa Health Clinics—all with superb CQC ratings.

Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Deliver high-quality face-to-face GP consultations to a diverse patient base within the Boots Watford site
- Provide primary care services in accordance with best clinical practice
- Attend and partake in clinical meetings, training, and refreshers
- Contribute to quality improvement activities, including Audits
- Undertake annual clinical reviews and competency assessments
- Offer clinical advice to colleagues (including health advisors and administrative staff)
- Healthcare provider to over 5.6 million customers and families

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- GMC-registered General Practitioner with current registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Adult & Children Safeguarding (Level 3) training
- Professionalism & empathy—a caring approach with patients and colleagues
- Membership of a Medical Defence Organisation
- Current experience in general practice without the pressures of list-heavy practices
- Proficiency in IT: Microsoft Office, e-records, e-prescribing
- Strong time management and flexibility
- Commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
