General Service Assistant

Role: General Service Assistant (Defence Team at RMA Sandhurst)

Aramark UK is recruiting a General Service Assistant to join our defence team at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. This is a permanent flexible role, ideal for someone who thrives on variety and dynamic environments. Occasional support at CTC Frimley may be required.

You’ll primarily work front-of-house, supporting daily operations by:

  • Serving food and beverages
  • Operating tills
  • Maintaining clean dining areas
  • Assisting front and back-of-house teams

Reporting directly to the General Manager on-site.

What You’ll Do

Flexible role where daily tasks may vary. Expected core responsibilities include:

  • Bar & barista work
  • Waiting tables
  • Washing up & general cleaning
  • Serving food & beverages (alcoholic/non-alcoholic)
  • Processing payments & operating tills accurately
  • Maintaining hygiene standards in dining areas
  • Supporting stock rotation & replenishment
  • Upholding health & safety protocols

Requirements

  • Desirable: Previous customer service or catering experience (training provided)
  • Required:
    • Proficiency in spoken English
    • 18+ years old
    • UK work eligibility + 3+ years UK residency (for security clearance)
