Location: Alanbrooke Barracks, Thirsk YO7 3EY Pay rate: £12.71 per hour Contract type: Permanent, part-time, 25 hours per week, evenings Shift times: Mon – Fri, 17:30 – 22:30

What you’ll do: As a General Service Assistant, you will be working front-of-house in the Officers’ Mess. You will support day-to-day operations by taking orders, serving food and beverages to our customers - alongside till work, cleaning dining areas and supporting both front and back of house areas. You will provide excellent customer service and report to the Front of House Supervisor on site. You will learn to stock up, stock rotate, face up item, and spot cleaning effectively. You will operate the till and process cash and card payments, ensuring you process any financial records accordingly. You will also serve on the food counters and upsell specific products. What we’re looking for: Previous customer facing / food service experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site. For this role you must be 18+ Must have eligibility to work in the UK and have resided for longer than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role Must have a reliable mode of transport due to the location of the site and limited public transport.
