Job Title: General Space Specialist

We are seeking an experienced General Space Specialist to join the team at Dover Street Market. This role involves cultivating and maintaining relationships with clients both in-store and remotely. You will introduce the space to your existing clientele, offering unparalleled customer service to meet and exceed the company’s financial targets.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a general brand ambassador, expertise in the various brands, space, and product.
  • Ensuring the best levels of customer service at all times.
  • Engaging with the wider store team/VIP team through dedicated styling packs. Working in accordance with the VIP stylist team and tailoring specific material to be used in order to engage with various client profiles.
  • Liaising with Merchandise team - prepared to provide buying feedback at the end of the season or during buying trips to ensure an informed buy. Maintain a consistent, weekly correspondence with the respective buyers/assistant buyers.
  • Ownership of VMD/Replenishment/BOH standards - ensuring the rest of the floor/store team are understanding of the expectations set.
  • Sales performance (individual/space targets).
  • Hosting or supporting with brand specific events.
  • EOD Reporting
  • Involved with staff training and ongoing presentations to store with product updates.

Key Objectives:

  • Space focused client book - managing own and understanding of the clients that contribute to the general space figure.
  • Less client focused more supporting.
  • Obtaining new and maintaining existing clients in store and remotely.
  • Setting the standard of the space ensuring it aligns with the DSM standard and Values.

Skills / Knowledge:

  • At least 3 years in high-end/luxury retail or relevant brand experience is advantageous.
  • Specific understanding of not only DSM but CDG brands, aesthetic, consumer.
  • Ability to clientele at a high level and set a clear example for other members of DSM sales team.
  • Specific understanding of all collections, stock availability at DSM, experience with similar brands is preferential.
  • Client book of potential new business for DSM.
  • Knowledge of Retail Pro (Not essential).
