The Opportunity
As General Store Manager, you'll have full accountability for the flagship store, overseeing every aspect of the operation. From commercial performance and operational execution to talent development and customer experience, you'll play a pivotal role in the continued success of one of the company's most important locations.
Leading a sizeable management team, you'll inspire colleagues to deliver exceptional standards while driving sales, profitability and operational efficiency across the entire business.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire and develop a large leadership and colleague team within a flagship retail environment.
- Take full ownership of the store P&L, delivering sales growth, profitability and productivity.
- Drive operational excellence across stock, compliance, health & safety, availability and customer experience.
- Build a high-performance culture through coaching, succession planning and strong people leadership.
- Analyse business performance, using data and insight to identify opportunities and continuously improve results.
- Manage labour, payroll and operational costs while maintaining exceptional standards.
- Ensure the flagship store consistently delivers best-in-class operational execution and commercial performance.
- Partner with regional leadership to deliver strategic business initiatives and support wider business objectives.
About You
You'll be an experienced operational retail leader with a proven track record of managing large-format or flagship stores.
You'll bring:
- Experience as a General Store Manager, Store Manager, Operations Manager or Senior Retail Manager within a high-volume retail environment.
- A strong background leading large teams and developing future leaders.
- Proven success managing P&L, KPIs and operational performance.
- Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer experience, operational efficiency and financial performance.
- Outstanding leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
- The ability to lead through change, influence stakeholders and deliver sustainable business results.
