Location: Burgess Hill, UK (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)
Contract: 6-12 Months
Role Overview
We are hiring GenAI Engineers (Junior & Senior) to design, develop, and deploy production-grade Generative AI applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern AI frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building AI-powered applications using Python, OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, Agentic AI, LangGraph, RAG, and cloud-native technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Generative AI applications using OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or equivalent LLM platforms.
- Design and implement Agentic AI and multi-agent solutions using LangGraph or similar orchestration frameworks.
- Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using enterprise knowledge sources, embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.
- Develop scalable Python backend services and REST APIs.
- Integrate AI applications with enterprise systems, databases, and third-party APIs.
- Optimize prompts, retrieval quality, latency, performance, and deployment costs.
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams to deliver secure, scalable, production-ready AI solutions.

Required Skills
- Strong Python programming and backend development experience.
- Hands-on experience with OpenAI/Azure OpenAI APIs and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience with Prompt Engineering, RAG, embeddings, and vector search.
- Experience designing Agentic AI applications using LangGraph or similar frameworks.
- Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, or equivalent.
- Experience with vector databases/search technologies including Azure AI Search, Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS, Milvus, pgvector (PostgreSQL), or OpenSearch.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, tool/function calling, and AI orchestration.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience
Senior GenAI Engineer
- Approximately 8–15+ years of software engineering experience.
- Strong experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale, production-ready GenAI solutions.
Junior GenAI Engineer
- Approximately 2–5 years of software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with Python, LLMs, OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, RAG, and modern AI frameworks.
