About the Role
We’re seeking a motivated Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our ambitious Nottingham team. In this role, you’ll take charge of site assessments, investigations, remediation strategies, and project delivery in regulated settings.
What You’ll Need
- A degree-level qualification in a relevant engineering or science discipline.
- 3-4 years of experience (minimum) in geotechnical or geo-environmental engineering.
- Excellent organisational skills, coupled with proficiency in:
- MS Word, Excel, Holebase SI, Surfer
- MS Project and comparable project management tools.
- Hands-on experience with technical report writing.
- Familiarity with CAD or GIS—preferred.
- Knowledge of geo-environmental software such as PDisp or GEO5—ideal; alternatives considered.
- A full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities
- Conducting site appraisals and critical reviews of third-party data.
- Leading:
- Desk Studies
- Land Contamination Assessments
- Remediation Strategies
- Validation reports as required.
- Managing site investigations effectively.
- Ensuring project management adheres to agreed scopes, timelines, and budgets.
- Analysing data and report writing to professional standards.
- Delivering:
- Human Health Risk Assessments
- Controlled Water Risk Assessments
- Detailed Quantitative Risk Assessments (preferred).
- Performing depth-specific duties such as foundation design, slope stability assessments, and settlement analysis.
