Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for ambitious and academically strong candidates who meet the following criteria:
Essential Requirements
- A First Class or 2:1 degree from a recognised university
- A degree in Geography OR candidates who hold A-Level Geography at grades A to B
- A genuine passion for education and Geography
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The desire to pursue a long-term career in teaching
- Excellent academic credentials throughout education
- Applicants must have completed their GCSEs in the UK in order to be considered for this ITT programme
- The ability to act as a positive role model for young people

The Role
As a trainee Geography teacher, you will gradually develop your classroom practice while receiving high-quality mentoring and support from experienced educational professionals.

Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Delivering small-group interventions and academic support
- Assisting pupils with coursework and exam preparation
- Building classroom management skills
- Developing lesson planning and teaching techniques
- Working alongside experienced Geography specialists
- Progressing towards becoming an outstanding classroom practitioner
