Geography ITT Trainee Teacher (Permanent) – Start September 2026
Location: Inner London Borough of Southwark
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000

Are you passionate about Geography and ready to begin your journey into teaching? We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic ITT Trainee Teacher of Geography to join our thriving secondary school from September 2026 on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or career changer to train as a teacher while working in a supportive and ambitious school environment. You will be fully supported to develop your classroom practice, subject knowledge, and confidence as you work towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
About The Role
Train to teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5 exposure) Work alongside experienced teachers and mentors who will guide your development Gradually take on teaching responsibilities as your confidence grows Engage in a structured training programme leading to QTS

About The ITT Programme
You will be enrolled in a high-quality Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme delivered by an established national education provider. This programme blends practical, school-based experience with expert-led training sessions.
