OneSchool Global UK - Geography Teacher Opportunity
OneSchool Global UK has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join our Ashbrook Campus in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator who is passionate about inspiring students, delivering engaging Geography lessons, and helping young people develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become successful self-directed learners.
As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 where appropriate. Working within a supportive and collaborative teaching environment, you will contribute to student achievement, wellbeing, and academic progress while embracing OneSchool Global's innovative approach to education and technology-enhanced learning.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
- Deliver engaging, high-quality Geography lessons that inspire and challenge students
- Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of all learners, including those requiring additional support and those who are highly able
- Use effective teaching strategies that promote student engagement, curiosity, and academic success
- Use assessment information to inform planning, interventions, and next steps in learning
- Support students in achieving their full academic potential across Key Stages 3-5
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Geography curriculum, examination specifications, and educational best practice
Student Development & Pastoral Support
- Promote positive behaviour, high expectations, and a culture of mutual respect
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Contribute to the school's commitment to developing self-directed learners
- Support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), working collaboratively with colleagues and parents where required

About You
We are looking for an outstanding classroom practitioner who is passionate about Geography and committed to delivering an exceptional educational experience.
You will demonstrate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Geography or a closely related subject
- Experience teaching Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4
- Ability to teach Geography at Key Stage 5 (desirable)
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current curriculum requirements
- Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills
- Experience of using assessment data to support student progress
