Geography Teacher
Geography Teacher (KS3 & KS4 Only)
Location: Newham, East London (Manor Park)
Contract: Starting at 4-weeks, extension upon review
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
- Early finish on Fridays
Pay: £150–£185 per day (No marking or planning outside of teaching schedule)

About The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join a dedicated Humanities department. Your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering engaging and challenging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4
- Inspiring students to develop a deeper understanding of the world while promoting academic progress
- Opportunity to move into a permanent position after an initial temporary posting
This role is ideal for a passionate Geography teacher who thrives in a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons for both KS3 & KS4
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress and attainment
- Differentiate learning to cater to students of varying abilities
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
- Uphold the school’s aims, ethos, and standards
- Maintain high behavioural and classroom management expectations
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Strong subject expertise in Geography
- Experience teaching Secondary Geography in the UK
- Relevant degree in Geography, Humanities, or a related discipline
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Commitment to helping all students reach their potential
