What You’ll Be Doing
As a Geomatics Surveyor for XEIAD, part of British Engineering Services Group, you will:
- Deliver a wide range of technical surveys on civil engineering and built environment assets
- Utilise cutting-edge technologies such as 3D laser scanning, drone surveys, and traditional survey techniques
- Play a key role in planning and executing surveys, managing on-site safety and resources
- Produce technically accurate survey reports for clients.

- Leading the safe and successful delivery of geomatic surveys using laser scanning, total stations, GPS, and other survey technologies.
- Supporting pre-work planning, including site visits and reviewing safe systems of work.
- Processing and managing survey data to produce high-quality technical outputs and reports to required standards.
- Coordinating on-site activities, resources, and third-party suppliers for smooth project delivery.
- Engaging professionally with clients, landowners, and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.
- Contributing to the development of digital surveys and asset monitoring solutions, including drones and remote technologies.

Requirements & Qualifications
To join our team, you must meet the following criteria:
- Experience in delivering surveys using techniques such as laser scanning, total stations, and GPS receivers.
- Previous experience in topographical surveys.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Ability to produce high-quality survey reports.
- Highways Safety Passport and/or Railway PTS.
- UK driving license.
