This role sits within the within the Online Proposition and Activity team. As the George.com Activity Assistant you will play an integral part within the George.com team who manage all activity, promotions, events, campaigns for the website. Alongside this, the team work with the digital marketing teams to help build a robust marketing plan based on key brand moments, customer insight and performance data.

As the ecommerce landscape continuously shifts, we must adapt alongside it, and this makes for a dynamic, innovative, and fast-paced working environment
Be part of the activity team who are the central point of contact for the Digital Customer/Marketing teams across the business into George.com, ensuring all channels are briefed on activity to drive commercial performance.
Assist the Activity team to build & maintain the George.com website activity & creative plan. Ensuring highly commercial and customer relevant plans are delivered using customer insight data and in line with the campaign and trading team priorities.
Assist to build & maintain CRM plans with the marketing teams using customer insight, previous performance data & business priorities to drive out an engaging communication plan.
Co-ordinate with relevant teams across the business to provide product nominations for each email.
Support in the delivery of campaigns & execution of new brands/partnerships on both fashion & home by working closely with the Brand Marketing teams, being the key contact for ecommerce.
Support in the delivery of the George.com events plan, including critical path management, co-ordinating key meetings to ensure events land on time with the best customer experience.
Co-ordinate activity meetings with stakeholders across the business.
Stakeholder management, managing comms for key activity/cross departmental collaboration
Complete weekly competitor analysis to understand the themes & activities set by other fashion & home e-commerce retailers.
Analyse website activity performance and feed this in to make decisions to help improve sales and/or customer experience.

- Experience within an E-commerce business would be an advantage but not essential
- Great organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload is essential
- Self-motivated with a driven mindset
- Good communicator, articulate and confident with people, able to communicate at different levels
- Be a strong team player and work collaboratively across multiple disciplines within both Fashion and Home
- Innovative and continuously looking for new ways of executing, with a customer first mindset
- Clear and concise written communication (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Email)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have a flexible working style depending on the task in hand
