This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Geospatial Reasoning Specialist (Senior) - Freelance AI Trainer Project based in United Kingdom.
This role offers the opportunity to apply advanced geospatial expertise to help shape the future of artificial intelligence.
You will contribute to the development of AI systems designed to understand complex real-world environments and support critical decision-making.
The position combines geospatial analysis, spatial reasoning, data evaluation, and AI model improvement.
You will assess AI-generated insights, identify reasoning gaps, and help build more accurate predictive capabilities.
This is an opportunity for experienced geospatial professionals to transform domain knowledge into impactful AI training data.
You will work remotely on challenging problems involving crisis response, forecasting, and real-world spatial intelligence.
Accountabilities
As a Geospatial Reasoning Specialist, you will leverage your expertise in geospatial analysis and spatial modeling to evaluate and improve AI systems. You will help design evaluation frameworks, validate model outputs, and provide domain-specific insights that enhance AI reasoning capabilities.
- Review and analyze geospatial scenarios involving uncertain, incomplete, or complex real-world data.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, relevance, logical consistency, and spatial reasoning quality.
- Identify analytical weaknesses and provide expert feedback to improve model performance.
- Design and refine evaluation metrics, test cases, and reasoning frameworks for geospatial AI applications.
- Validate model responses related to crisis management, forecasting, site analysis, logistics, environmental planning, and other spatial challenges.
- Apply professional expertise to assess relationships between geographic data, spatial patterns, and real-world outcomes.
- Collaborate with technical teams to improve data-driven evaluation processes and AI model capabilities.
- Communicate complex geospatial concepts and analytical findings clearly and effectively.
- Support the development of intelligent systems capable of assisting with real-time decision-making and global challenges.

Requirements
The ideal candidate is a senior geospatial professional with strong analytical abilities and experience working with spatial data, GIS systems, or related fields. You should be comfortable evaluating complex scenarios, explaining spatial relationships, and applying domain expertise to improve AI-driven solutions.
- Professional experience in geospatial analysis, GIS, spatial modeling, crisis response, or related domains.
- Experience applying geospatial expertise in areas such as disaster response, damage assessment, agriculture, logistics, supply chain optimization, environmental planning, or forecasting.
- Strong understanding of spatial reasoning, geographic data analysis, and location-based decision-making.
- Experience working with geospatial tools and technologies such as QGIS, ArcGIS, GDAL, PostGIS, or similar platforms.
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and evaluate the quality of analytical outputs.
- Strong critical thinking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and limitations in AI-generated reasoning.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex spatial concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently and manage technical tasks in a remote environment.
- Passion for emerging AI technologies and interest in applying domain expertise to model development.
