Role Description
This is a full-time Geospatial Surveyor role based in Ashby-De-La-Zouch, offered on a hybrid basis with some work from home flexibility. The Geospatial Surveyor will conduct topographic and measured building surveys, underground utility surveys, and 3D laser scanning on a variety of sites. Daily activities include:

- Planning survey work
- Collecting accurate field data with modern surveying instruments
- Processing and validating survey data
- Producing clear plans, models, and reports for clients and internal stakeholders
The role involves collaborating with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements, ensuring data quality and compliance with industry standards, and maintaining equipment and digital records. The Geospatial Surveyor will also:
- Support continuous improvement of methods
- Contribute to safe site practices
- Communicate professionally with clients as needed
Qualifications

Core surveying skills:
- Geospatial data collection
- Topographic surveying
- Measured building surveying
- Basic site engineering and setting out

Technical skills:
- Using total stations
- GNSS equipment
- Laser scanners
- Related digital tools for processing survey data and creating maps or 3D models

- Experience in land or building surveying within the UK

- A valid driving license for site travel
- Openness to learning new technologies and methods
