Join Our Team as a Geospatial Technical Support Manager!
Are you an experienced geospatial professional who enjoys solving technical challenges and leading high-performing teams? Join KOREC and play a key role in delivering outstanding technical support to customers across the UK & Ireland, helping them maximize the value of industry-leading surveying, mapping, positioning and construction technologies.
Location:
Liverpool, UK (office-based, 5 days per week, with occasional travel to other company and customer locations as required)
As a Geospatial Technical Support Manager with us, you'll:
- Lead and develop our UK-based Technical Support Team, ensuring customer enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally
- Support customers across surveying, construction, engineering and geospatial industries using technologies such as GNSS, total stations, laser scanning, mapping solutions, machine control and software platforms
- Manage technical escalations and complex support issues while maintaining a high standard of customer service
- Monitor support ticket performance, allocation, quality and resolution times to deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Create and maintain technical knowledge resources including user guides, FAQs, troubleshooting articles and training materials
- Collaborate with Sales, Service, Operations, Hire and Product Specialists to deliver joined-up customer support
- Regularly visit our Huntingdon Operations Team to provide coaching, technical guidance and product knowledge support
- Identify recurring issues, drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of support KPIs

What Your Day Looks Like:
Working closely with customers and internal teams, you'll oversee day-to-day technical support operations while helping drive continuous improvements across our support function. You'll provide leadership to the Technical Support Team, assist with troubleshooting and diagnostics, help develop technical content, and ensure customers receive clear, practical and timely solutions. This role combines people leadership, technical expertise and customer service excellence.
What We're Seeking:
- Experience within the geospatial, surveying or related industry is essential
- Strong knowledge of surveying and positioning technologies, including GNSS/GPS, total stations, laser scanning and associated software solutions
- Previous experience leading or supervising a technical support, service desk or customer support team
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities across both hardware and software environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities, escalations and team workloads
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies and industry developments
