A respected, long-established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join their expanding team. Working across civil, structural, environmental and infrastructure disciplines, the company delivers high-quality solutions for projects in the commercial, industrial, residential, education, energy and data-centre sectors.
Geotechnical Engineer Roles Key Responsibilities
- Undertake ground and site investigations, including intrusive works and sampling.
- Complete Phase 1 desk studies, due diligence assessments and contaminated land investigations.
- Carry out geotechnical and geo-environmental analyses, including soil, groundwater and gas risk assessments.
- Produce clear, accurate factual and interpretative reports for clients and project teams.
- Support design and consultancy work related to foundations, remediation and site development.
- Collaborate with engineers across multiple disciplines to deliver integrated project solutions.

Geotechnical Engineer Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Geology, Geoscience, Environmental Science/Engineering, Civil Engineering or similar.
- Experience in geotechnical or geo-environmental engineering, including site investigation and report writing.
- Live in or near to Cambridge
- Full right to work in the UK
- A valid UK driving licence.
