Location: Leeds

Salary: GBP32,000 - GBP42,000 (depending on experience)

A well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join its growing Leeds office. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality geotechnical and geoenvironmental solutions across the UK, this is an excellent opportunity to join a company that invests heavily in employee development and offers clear career progression.

  • Planning and supervising ground investigations.
  • Logging soil and rock samples to current standards.
  • Producing factual and interpretative geotechnical reports.
  • Carrying out geotechnical analysis and foundation recommendations.
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and design teams.
  • Assisting with slope stability, retaining wall, and foundation design.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Requirements

  • Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience within a UK geotechnical consultancy.
  • Knowledge of UK ground investigation practices.
  • Experience producing geotechnical reports.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
