A dynamic multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking to bolster its Derby team with an enthusiastic Geotechnical Engineer. You’ll work on residential developments, gaining exposure to geotechnical design and geoenvironmental projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Planning and supervising ground investigations
- Logging soil and rock coro*nd industry standards
- Producing factual and interpretative geotechnical reports
- Undertaking geotechnical assessments and foundation recommendations
- Supporting residential development projects
- Assisting with slope stability, retaining wall, and foundation design
- Expanding geoenvironmental knowledge (including contaminated land assessments)
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and project teams
Requirements
- Degree in one of the following (or related discipline):
- Geology
- Engineering Geology
- Geotechnical Engineering
- Consultancy experience in geotechnical engineering or ground investigations
- Strong understanding of geotechnical principles
- Exceptional report writing and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence (required for project site access)
- Willingness to learn, with an enthusiastic attitude
