MSSI are looking for a Geo technical Engineer to join our growing team delivering ongoing ground investigation works across the West Midlands.
Overview
- Full-time, 50 hours midweek (mostly days)
- Weekend work when required
- Long-term contract - minimum 3.5 years
- Career progression + funded industry training
What You'll Be Doing
- Ground investigation works including logging, sampling, in-situ testing, and site supervision.
- Supporting geotechnical assessments for rail infrastructure projects.
- Working with drilling crews, contractors, and project engineers on active sites.
- Preparing concise field records and contributing to technical reports.

A degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or Geotechnical Engineering is preferred; a Masters degree in a relevant subject would be an asset but not essential. Current Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card is desirable. Guidance will be provided to successful graduate candidates on CSCS card training and applications.
