The Responsibilities
The successful Geotechnical Engineer will:
- Work on site and in the office
- Supervise drilling rigs
- Conduct ground investigations
- Perform soil logging
- Write factual and interpretive reports
- Complete desktop studies
- Assist junior team members
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
- Existing experience and detailed knowledge of the ground investigation industry
- A degree in:
- Engineering Geology
- Geotechnical Engineering
- Geoscience
- Earth Sciences
- A relevant subject
- A full UK driving licence
- The full right to work in the UK
- Commutability to Sheffield and the surrounding area
