Geotechnical Engineer
Outside IR35
3 Month contract
Duties
- Liaison with the Contractor, Project Manager and Employer's Representative.
- Reviewing of testing activities against the requirements of the Specification and Contractor's Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
- Observing and commenting on the quality of the earthworks' activities and compliance with the Specification and Contractor's Method Statements.
- Reviewing the adequacy of soil/fill sampling as required under the Specification and ITP and advising the Contractor of the results in order to allow the satisfactory progress of the works.
- Auditing the Contractor's records against the requirements of the Specification and the Contractor's Quality Control Plan.
- Maintaining daily records of activities and a photographic log.
- Input into the final audit completion report.
