We are recruiting for Geotechnical Engineers & Engineering Geologists across the UK, available in both full-time and part-time roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality, technically sound reports while liaising effectively with both specialists and clients
- Develop ground models and determine design parameters
- Conduct structure analysis (slopes, walls, foundations, and other geotechnical systems)
- Support project delivery through client coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Integrate higher sustainability practices and 3D data optimisation in project delivery
- Conduct site-based work, supervising ground investigations and construction activities
- Implement WSP’s new geotechnical training framework, fostering continuous learning
- For experienced professionals: drive business development, lead complex projects, and mentor teams

Key Requirements & Expectations:
- Strong ground risk awareness and expertise in site investigations
- Sound understanding of soil mechanics and engineering fundamentals
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) to draft high-value reports and design deliverables
- Ambitious drive towards chartered status
- Experienced professionals must demonstrate consultancy experience and ground risk management success
