We’re seeking Geotechnical Engineers & Engineering Geologists at all career levels across the UK. Roles are available on a full- or part-time basis.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing professional, technically-comprehensive reports, and engaging with clients and technical specialists
- Developing ground models and design parameters
- Analysing slopes, retaining walls, foundations, and geotechnical structures
- Supporting end-to-end project delivery, including client liaison and cross-disciplinary collaboration
- Contributing to higher sustainability outcomes and leveraging 3D data in project delivery
- Conducting on-site supervisory work for ground investigations and construction activities
- Upholding WSP’s new Geotechnical Training Framework, fostering mentorship and continuous learning
- For experienced professionals, leading critical business development, complex projects, and mentoring staff

Requirements
We’re looking for you to:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of ground risk and site investigation methodologies
- Apply strong soil mechanics and engineering principles in your work
- Deliver exceptional verbal and written communication, with a focus on high-quality reports and design deliverables
- Aim for chartered status, showcasing ambition to progress in your career
- For experienced professionals: Provide credible consultaion and geotechnical risk management experience
