We’re looking for Geotechnical Engineers & Engineering Geologists across the UK, offering roles on a full-time or part-time basis.
About Your Role
Your work will include:
- Producing professional, technically sound reports and liaising with specialists and clients
- Creating ground models and design parameters
- Analysing slopes, walls, foundations, and geotechnical structures
- Supporting client liaison, project co-ordination, and inter-disciplinary collaboration
- Driving sustainability initiatives and enhancing 3D data utilisation in project delivery
- Conducting site-based work, including supervising ground investigations and construction
- Utilising WSP’s geotechnical training framework to develop skills—both your own and your colleagues’
- For experienced professionals, taking leadership roles, shaping business development, managing complex projects, and mentoring staff

Requirements
We seek candidates who demonstrate:
- A strong understanding of ground risk and site investigation
- Basic soil mechanics expertise
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on high-quality reports and design outputs
- Ambition to progress towards chartered status
- For experienced professionals, credited consultancy and ground risk management experience
