About the Role
We are hiring Geotechnical Engineers & Engineering Geologists at various career levels across the UK, available on both full-time and part-time basis.
Here’s what this role entails:
- Producing professional and technically competent reports and specialist/client liaison
- Developing ground models and design parameters
- Analyzing slopes, walls, foundations, and other geotechnical structures
- Providing project-wide support, including client liaison and cross-disciplinary coordination
- Contributing to sustainability initiatives and efficiently using 3D data in project delivery
- Engaging in site-based work, supervising ground investigations and construction
- Utilizing WSP’s new geotechnical training framework to advance your own and your colleagues’ professional growth
- Along with fostering a collaborative culture, mentoring staff (for experienced professionals) and leading critical business development or complex project management

Key Requirements
Candidates should demonstrate:
- A fundamental understanding of ground risk and site investigation
- Proficiency in basic soil mechanics and engineering principles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including production of high-quality reports/deliverables
- Ambition towards chartered status
- For experienced roles:
- Consultancy experience and ground risk management expertise
