Geotechnical Site Engineer
Geotechnical Engineer (or Geo:Environmental Engineer/Engineering Geologist) – Manchester
Location: Manchester
Salary: GBP28,000–34,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Are you a geotechnical engineer, geo:environmental engineer, or engineering geologist seeking your next opportunity in Manchester? This expanding engineering contractor is seeking an experienced and ambitious engineer to join their team on a variety of exciting ground investigation projects. About the Role
You’ll be working alongside a specialist ground investigation team, performing the following key tasks:

- Conducting site walkovers
- Undertaking Phase 1 desk studies
- Performing soil and rock sampling
- Preparing factual report writing
- Logging boreholes
- Mentoring and training junior team members

Requirements
In order to be considered for the Geotechnical Engineer position, you must:
- Have proven experience as a geotechnical/geo:environmental engineer or engineering geologist
- Hold a degree in:
- Applied geology
- Civil engineering
- Geoscience
- Environmental engineering
- Environmental science
- Or a relevant subject
- Live in or be commutable to Manchester
- Have a full right to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
