- Grammar, syntax
- Morphology, phonology

About the Role
You’ll challenge advanced language models to handle complex German topics, such as:
- Verb conjugation
- Case systems (nominative, accusative, dative, genitive)
- Word order and declensions
- Gender expressions
- Stylistic variations

Daily tasks include:
- Conversing with models on German-language scenarios
- Verifying factual accuracy and logical soundness
- Documenting reproducible error traces
- Suggesting improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation strategies
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in German language or linguistics, or a closely related field
- Strong preference for applicants with:
- Peer-reviewed publications
- Teaching experience
- Hands-on linguistic analysis projects
- Ability to clear, metacognitive communication ("showing your work") is essential

Compensation
- Competitive hourly rate: $6–$65/hour (final offer based on experience, geographic location)
- Contract-only position (no company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance or PTO)
