Account Manager, Hotels EMEA (German Speaking)

About The Job

OpenTable is seeking a dedicated and strategic Account Manager to manage, protect, and grow our core hotel portfolio within the EMEA region. In this role, you will act as a trusted business advisor, bridging clients' operational needs with our innovative hospitality technology solutions. You will collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure client success and drive a high return on investment. Additionally, you will leverage data-driven insights to report on account health and influence our global product roadmap.


Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed assigned monthly and quarterly retention and revenue goals by protecting core revenue and closing growth opportunities.
  • Ensure world-class customer satisfaction and support client operational needs by fully optimizing OpenTable's technology for every hotel account.
  • Maintain operational excellence by documenting all client communications within Salesforce and reporting on account health and KPIs to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise on our full suite of solutions, including table management platforms and online marketing tools, to solve complex C-suite challenges.
  • Act as the "Voice of the Customer" by providing consistent field feedback on trends and feature requirements to Product and Marketing teams.
  • Assist Hotels Account Executives and Inside Sales Representatives to ensure seamless client transitions from signed to live.

Minimum Qualifications

  • German Speaking to a business level proficiency
  • 5+ years of Account Management or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working under pressure, meeting ambitious goals, and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Outstanding negotiating and communication skills.
  • An aptitude for data-driven business decisions and the ability to reframe a client's view of their business through insights.
  • Ability to travel 30-50% across the EMEA region for on-site client meetings and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Account Management experience within a B2B SaaS or high-growth hospitality technology environment.
  • Business-fluent German language skills to support regional customers with clarity and cultural awareness.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and CRM solutions like Salesforce, along with AI fluency and its professional application.
  • Prior restaurant management or food and beverage (F&B) sales experience.
  • A genuine passion for the hospitality industry and technology.
