Job Title: German speaking Customer Service Representative

Location: Bury St Edmunds

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm, Friday 8am – 12.30pm

Salary: Depending on experience


This is an exciting time to join our global UK-based client as a German speaker within their Customer Service department. In this role, you’ll play a key role as part of a collaborative, forward-thinking and global company by supporting their German speaking market.

As the German speaking Customer Service Representative, you will:

  • Answer incoming phone calls and emails from German speaking customers regarding order entry, tracking and product stock levels
  • Be responsible for purchase order requests and entry, administration, quotations, and technical advice and assistance regarding products
  • Maintain an up-to-date technical knowledge regarding products
  • Be responsible for the German speaking market, ensuring a customer-first, proactive approach
  • And more

Who we’re looking for:

  • Native-level German speaker with fluent English
  • Experience in a high-level technical customer service environment, ideally within manufacturing or engineering environments
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and ERP systems
  • Experience in process improvement
  • You’re a great communicator and problem solver with the ability to understand and effectively communicate technical information to customers
