The Girlswear Designer – Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Girlswear Designer to join a succeeding fashion company.

The role requires a designer with a keen eye for trends and a creative flair, capable of producing bestselling customer ranges.


Responsibilities

  • Attend regular customer meetings, work on customer briefs, and present finished ranges
  • Liaise with factories overseas daily, including attending sourcing trips
  • Analyse current and future trends, translating insights into commercial ranges
  • Create detailed tech packs
  • Attend comp and inspiration shopping trips
  • Carry out trend research

  • Previous experience in a similar role
