Build. Fix. Improve. Take ownership.

We're opening our newest luxury retreat on the coast at Dunbar, and we're looking for one exceptional, hands-on person to run it.

This isn't a clipboard job.

This is for someone who enjoys building things, solving problems, working outdoors and taking real pride in creating somewhere incredible for guests.

The first few months will be hard graft as we transform the site into the Coorie Retreats standard. After that, it becomes a varied, rewarding role with plenty of autonomy and flexibility.

πŸ”¨ What you'll be doing

  • Building & Joinery Decking, cladding, fit-outs and site improvement projects. Bringing new ideas to life.

  • Maintenance & Repairs General repairs, plumbing basics, fencing, decorating and keeping everything running perfectly.

  • Grounds & Presentation Grass cutting, landscaping and making sure every corner looks five-star.

  • Hot Tub Management Daily temperature & chemical checks. Cleaning between guests. Filter maintenance. Water safety records. Keeping burners stocked.

  • Guest Changeovers Working alongside our cleaning team. Making sure every lodge is perfect before guests arrive.

  • Guest Support Holding the site phone during stays. Being the first point of contact for genuine emergencies.

  • Managing Contractors Organising trades when specialist work is required. Getting quotes and keeping projects moving.

  • Stock & Ordering Materials, fuel, linen and consumables. Company card provided. Keeping costs sensible.

  • Health & Safety Keeping the site safe, compliant and looking exceptional every single day.

You're probably someone who...

  • Loves working with your hands.
  • Has experience in joinery, construction or general property maintenance.
  • Takes pride in doing things properly.
  • Doesn't wait to be told what needs done.
  • Can turn your hand to almost anything.
  • Is organised, reliable and trustworthy.
  • Has a full UK driving licence.

Own tools and transport are a big advantage.
