Build. Fix. Improve. Take ownership.
We're opening our newest luxury retreat on the coast at Dunbar, and we're looking for one exceptional, hands-on person to run it.
This isn't a clipboard job.
This is for someone who enjoys building things, solving problems, working outdoors and taking real pride in creating somewhere incredible for guests.
The first few months will be hard graft as we transform the site into the Coorie Retreats standard. After that, it becomes a varied, rewarding role with plenty of autonomy and flexibility.
🔨 What you'll be doing

Building & Joinery Decking, cladding, fit-outs and site improvement projects. Bringing new ideas to life.

Maintenance & Repairs General repairs, plumbing basics, fencing, decorating and keeping everything running perfectly.

Grounds & Presentation Grass cutting, landscaping and making sure every corner looks five-star.

Hot Tub Management Daily temperature & chemical checks. Cleaning between guests. Filter maintenance. Water safety records. Keeping burners stocked.

Managing Contractors Organising trades when specialist work is required. Getting quotes and keeping projects moving.

Stock & Ordering Materials, fuel, linen and consumables. Company card provided. Keeping costs sensible.

Health & Safety Keeping the site safe, compliant and looking exceptional every single day.
💪 Who we're looking for
You're probably someone who...
- Loves working with your hands.
- Has experience in joinery, construction or general property maintenance.
- Takes pride in doing things properly.
- Doesn't wait to be told what needs done.
- Can turn your hand to almost anything.
- Is organised, reliable and trustworthy.
- Has a full UK driving licence.
Own tools and transport are a big advantage.
💷 The Package
- 💰 £500 per week (PAYE employed)
- 📅 Paid weekly
- 🏖️ Paid holidays
- ⏰ Extremely flexible hours Typically 9am to 4pm, although you largely choose your own schedule around guest changeovers.
