Account Director – Global Facilities Management

Location: UK (National) with regular international travel to the USA

I'm exclusively partnering with a global leader in Facilities Management to appoint an exceptional Account Director. This is a career-defining opportunity to take ownership of a strategically important international account, working closely with senior stakeholders across the UK and the United States.

You'll be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of a major international account, ensuring exceptional service delivery while driving commercial performance, innovation, and long-term client satisfaction.

This role offers genuine executive exposure, with regular travel between the UK and the USA, collaborating with senior client leadership and internal global teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of a high-profile international Facilities Management contract.
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Drive operational excellence, service innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Take ownership of commercial performance, contract profitability, and client retention.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop multi-disciplinary operational teams.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and strategic expansion.
  • Ensure best-in-class governance, compliance, health & safety, and service quality.

About You

We're looking for an accomplished Account Director or Senior Operations Leader who can demonstrate:

  • Extensive experience within Facilities Management.
  • A proven track record managing complex, high-value client portfolios.
  • Strong commercial acumen with significant P&L responsibility.
  • Outstanding client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading large operational teams across multiple locations.
  • The ability and willingness to travel internationally, particularly between the UK and the USA.
