Global Account Director, Tech

About the Team
The Global Agency & Accounts Team (GA&A) is a strategic and consultative partner to the largest advertisers and agencies in the world, helping them to develop TikTok solutions that build businesses and brands across our integrated suite of products.
About the Role
We have an opening for a client-facing, customer service, detail-oriented Global Account Director to be based in London who will lead the global relationship with some of our largest Technology partners. We are looking for a strategic leader with media experience that will work hand in hand with TikTok's regional sales teams around the globe. The Account Director will be a crucial member of a growing team that will support the Global Accounts Team in meeting its objectives and providing best in class account management and customer service to clients, both internal and external. This role is responsible for partnering with the Global Accounts and regional (country) Sales teams to fuel revenue growth, build global infrastructure, manage the successful implementation of contracts, legal clearances, financial and strategic incentives and use data and analytics to build consultative solutions for our largest global brand partners, and opportunity map growth areas for our business. The Account Director will establish and strengthen key regional client relationships with a focus on supporting revenue, advertiser education & internal sales team satisfaction. Success in this position requires a focus on client service, the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment, and the ability to provide custom solutions for advertisers and internal cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular business reviews and take a consultative, long-term approach to build productive relationships with clients, in collaboration with the Global Accounts and regional Sales team.
- Serve as external product consultant educating clients and agencies on product solutions and best practices.
- Work and collaborate with diverse group of internal cross-functional teams across the Consumer, Content, Product and Revenue business units to drive organizational KPIs.
- Proactively lead product update discussions, educate global brands on TikTok’s new and existing products, and advise on best practices to drive incremental business opportunities.
- Global Reporting & Analysis: On-going deal management and fulfillment analysis of spend, seasonality, bonus allocations and fulfillment, market participation and saturation.
- Optimization Analysis: Internal – Product Suite, Rates, Seasonality, Campaign volume, Creative Production. External – Market, category and product engagement, best practices and innovation tracking, casework sharing.
- Cross-Brand Sharing: Ensures learnings and innovation shared across the accounts and global network shared internally and across functions.
- Analyze account performance data to offer clients data-driven business insights and at the same time, use those insights to improve our account and advertising offerings.
- Collect and share marketplace feedback and guide our account strategy.
- Support and work with the regional sales team on pre-sale research and pitch process and collateral.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s)
- Proven ability to craft strategic, insight-driven narratives that connect data to business impact and influence stakeholders.
- Strong consultative approach, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and translate insights into actionable recommendations for clients and internal teams.
- Expertise in digital marketing ad products including measurement solutions, encompassing experience with key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive data-driven strategies.
- Excellent collaboration skills.
- Proactive attitude with excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively translate technical language to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualification(s)
- Deep expertise managing Technology advertisers with strong understanding of their business, industry trends, audience behaviors, marketing and media challenges.
- Global experience operating at global networks in previous roles and deep understanding of nuances by region.
- Self-starter, a fast learner who has critical thinking.
- Have a passion for TikTok.
