This is not a typical account management role. This is a high impact, high velocity commercial position at the heart of Planet’s enterprise growth. As a Key Account Manager, you will take ownership of some of Planet’s largest global blue chip clients across EMEA. You will act as a strategic growth partner, driving revenue, deepening relationships, and transforming how your clients leverage payments and tax free solutions as true revenue generating engines. If you thrive in a fast paced, relationship led sales environment and want to make a measurable impact with some of the world’s most recognised brands, this is the role for you.
What you will do
- Own and grow strategic enterprise accounts managing a portfolio of high value global clients across EMEA.
- Drive commercial growth identify, shape, and close expansion opportunities across payments and tax-free solutions.
- Turn payments into profit centres help clients evolve payments and tax free from operational necessities into key drivers of revenue, conversion, and customer experience.
- Build deep trusted relationships engaging senior stakeholders and becoming a strategic partner to your clients.
- Lead account strategy developing and executing growth plans that align client ambition with Planet’s commercial capabilities.
- Unlock cross sell opportunities connecting payment solutions, tax free, and value added services to maximise client revenue potential.
- Navigate complexity with confidence orchestrating internal teams across product, delivery, and support for seamless execution.
- Stay ahead of industry trends bringing insight into payments, retail innovation, and international shopper behaviour.

Who you are
- Proven success in enterprise sales or key account management managing large complex clients.
- Strong payments industry knowledge such as acquiring, omni channel payments, FX, or tax free shopping solutions.
- A track record of driving commercial growth through payments and value added services.
- Ability to position payments and tax free as strategic revenue drivers not just cost centres.
- Exceptional relationship building and influencing skills including at executive level.
- High energy and resilience thrives in a fast paced, performance driven environment.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution focus.
- Experience working across EMEA markets is highly desirable.
