Your mission

The Global Account Manager – Financial Services will own UiPath’s relationship with a small number of high revenue strategic banking customers and lead our engagements with them at a global level. Sitting within our UK Banking go-to-market team, you'll act as the CEO for a portfolio of top-tier global banking accounts, orchestrating sales, delivery, and executive stakeholders across regions to unlock enterprise-wide value. You will work every day across the C-Suite, Digital Transformation, AI/Automation COE's, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Technology teams to deliver value through UiPath’s automation and AI platform.

What you'll do at UiPath

  • Assess territory potential and develop a sales vision, strategy and plan to elevate UiPath in and maximize value and revenue across Financial Services accounts. Lead, orchestrate and inspire Account Teams in executing against the Account Vision and Plan
  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within quarterly schedules
  • Own commercial strategy for the account, leading complex, multi-stakeholder negotiations and structuring multi-year enterprise agreements
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene across the account, reporting progress against quota to senior leadership
  • Evangelize the UiPath brand by presenting, promoting, and selling UiPath solutions through a value-selling approach
  • Educate customers on how UiPath can improve efficiency, reduce operational costs, strengthen controls, and support digital transformation
  • Establish, develop, elevate and maintain positive business and customer relationships across the territory. Be a thought leader across the portfolio
  • Develop trusted relationships with local partners and global systems integrators to cultivate new opportunities and drive successful customer implementations
  • Partner with Customer Success Managers to ensure enduring value delivery
  • Monitor industry competitors, new products, regulatory trends, and market conditions to understand customer needs and bring relevant thought leadership to your customers
  • Collaborate internally with sales executives and cross-functional teams to share knowledge and best practices
  • Explore ways to incorporate automation into daily work and financial services workflows

What you'll bring to the team

  • 8+ years of solution/value selling experience
  • 3+ years of enterprise account experience selling to Financial Services/Banking customers preferred along with a wide network of contacts across the Industry
  • Demonstrated expertise communicating artificial intelligence capabilities, ROI metrics, and implementation strategies to C-suite executives, Digital Transformation teams, and AI Centers of Excellence
  • Ability to translate complex AI and automation concepts into business outcomes such as cost reduction, improved controls, faster processing, risk mitigation, and enhanced customer experience
  • Familiarity with financial services priorities such as regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, KYC/AML, audit readiness, operational resilience, and back-office transformation, along with the vendor risk assessments, data residency requirements, and third-party risk frameworks common to regulated banking procurement
  • Ability to communicate new and complex concepts in an easy-to-understand way that creates strong demand for the solution
  • Successful year-over-year quota attainment and experience retaining and growing an enterprise client portfolio
  • High aptitude for cross-functional collaboration and influence internally and externally
  • Ability to navigate complex client organizations and develop key relationships across multiple departments and leadership levels, including the C-suite
  • Ability to provide valuable insights into improving customers’ business operations
  • Research and data-driven approach to account planning, with the ability to proactively identify opportunities from business-led discussions
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50%, including occasional travel outside of the UK
