About the Company

Our client is a leading global technology-driven supply chain and e-commerce platform, listed on NASDAQ and ranked among the Fortune Global 500.

With operations spanning Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia, the company continues to invest significantly in international growth and the development of its global retail, logistics, and supply chain ecosystem.

Europe is currently one of the company’s key strategic investment regions. Established teams are already operating across the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands, and other European markets, with further expansion planned across the region.

As part of this continued growth, the company is seeking an experienced Global Accounting Manager to support the financial accounting, reporting, closing, compliance, and internal control activities of its European business entities.

Role Overview

This is a highly visible finance position responsible for ensuring the accuracy, standardization, and compliance of financial operations across selected European markets.

The successful candidate will take ownership of end-to-end accounting, month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, audit coordination, financial controls, and process optimization for one or more European entities.

The role will work closely with European business teams, local finance colleagues, global finance functions, and headquarters stakeholders, providing broad exposure to a rapidly expanding international retail and e-commerce business.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Closing

  • Manage end-to-end accounting operations across revenue, operating expenses, CAPEX, inventory, receivables, and other business transactions.
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities for assigned European entities.
  • Review the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of accounting records and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure alignment between the general ledger, financial statements, and underlying business data.
  • Identify and resolve financial discrepancies while maintaining strong accounting controls.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Support group reporting, consolidation, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Conduct variance analysis and explain material movements in revenue, costs, assets, liabilities, and profitability.
  • Provide clear financial insights to support management review and business decision-making.
  • Ensure reporting is aligned with IFRS and applicable local accounting standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
