Dune London – Global Merchandising Manager Position

About the Role

You’ll be joining our brilliant Global Merchandising team, where detailed analysis, accurate forecasting, and strategic allocation will ensure we deliver the best possible product range for our Global retail partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading weekly trade analysis, reporting, and planning meetings with comprehensive information
  • Regularly reviewing sales and stock using WSSI (Weekly Sales Summary Index) and line projections to recommend optimal intake strategies for maximising sales
  • Collaborating closely with the merchandising and buying teams to manage weekly task lists, trade actions, and execution of distribution plans
  • Overseeing sales, promotions, and price changes, with a focus on their impact on intake margin and gross margin—critical drivers of profitability

This is a fixed-term contract (FTC) role, lasting 1 year.

About You

We’re looking for someone who can bring the following to the team:

  • Excel expertise – Confidence in using advanced Excel tools for data analysis
  • Commercial acumen – A strong understanding of customer needs and how they align with the Dune brand
  • Experience in:
    • Allocation and stock management
    • Line card forecasting
    • WSSI updating
  • Proactive approach – ability to:
    • Deputise for Merchandisers when needed
    • Identify opportunities and risks to profit, taking swift action
  • Market awareness – Staying informed on trends that influencing business performance
  • Passion for footwear/accessories – A deep understanding of current trends
  • Team leadership – Ability to contribute opinions in meetings while fostering an open collaboration culture
