Job Description

Operations partners with all areas of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading, and asset management capabilities globally, while providing essential risk management and control. Asset Servicing is responsible for the end-to-end management of Voluntary Income and Corporate Action events across global equity and fixed income markets. The team supports internal and external clients through complex, time-critical events such as mergers, restructurings, and shareholder meetings, operating within a high-risk control environment.

Role Overview

This role is responsible for the day-to-day processing and risk management of voluntary corporate action instructions across EMEA markets. The successful candidate will execute and control client and firm elections, ensure accurate and timely instruction into local markets, and manage risk through disciplined adherence to controls, escalation, and issue resolution. The role requires strong technical expertise, sound judgment under tight market deadlines, and close collaboration with global partners and client service teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and validate announcement information and instruct client and firm elections into CREST/Euroclear
  • Reconcile and distribute entitlements, investigating and resolving exceptions as required
  • Actively manage operational risk by identifying issues, escalating appropriately, and applying strong controls
  • Partner with client service, technology, legal, and global operations teams to resolve complex event-related issues
  • Support process improvements and control enhancements to reduce risk, increase scalability, and improve client outcomes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
