£55-60k + £6,120 car allowance + 15% bonus | Global Brand Manager | Maidenhead | Hybrid 3 days office
Are you an FMCG marketer with experience leading innovation or NPD projects from concept to launch?
Are you confident building business cases and influencing cross-functional teams to deliver projects at pace?
The opportunity
This is a Global Brand Manager role focused on developing and delivering consumer-led innovation for a major home fragrance brand.
You will lead innovation projects from early opportunity identification through to successful market launch, working across consumer insight, product concept development, positioning, packaging, business cases and delivery.
This is not a role for someone who only wants to manage timelines. You will be expected to take ownership, make clear recommendations, influence stakeholders and keep projects moving through a complex, fast-paced business.
What you will be doing
You will lead global innovation projects end to end, from identifying opportunities through to market launch. Day to day, you will be responsible for:
- Identifying consumer trends, fragrance innovation and category opportunities
- Translating consumer insight, category trends and market opportunities into a strong innovation pipeline
- Developing product concepts, positioning and brand stories that support future growth
- Building business cases and presenting innovation strategies to senior stakeholders
- Leading innovation and NPD projects through concept development, packaging, delivery and launch
- Working cross-functionally with Marketing, R&D, Packaging, Design, Consumer Insights, Supply, Finance, Legal, Regulatory and local markets
- Briefing and managing external agencies to deliver packaging and brand assets
- Tracking timelines, risks and key milestones to keep projects on schedule
- Building strong relationships with local marketing teams to gather market feedback and ensure innovation meets local consumer needs
- Monitoring post-launch performance with local markets and identifying opportunities to improve future innovation

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
