Global Business Development Manager – Natural Oils (UK)
Position Summary & Scope
This role is key to Vantage's expansion strategy in the natural oils business globally, with a strong focus on APAC. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business development while managing and growing existing customer relationships across international markets.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Proactively identify, target, and pursue new business opportunities on international markets with a focus on APAC.
- Manage existing customer relationships and expand business within the assigned territory.
- Deliver against pre-set sales and profit targets, reporting regularly and adjusting priorities to ensure annual goals are met or exceeded.
- Lead the full customer contracting process, from prospect acquisition through commercial negotiation to contract close and future repeat business.
- Work closely with technical, business support and product management, and related stakeholder teams to optimize commercial processes.
- Support the development of new business strategies by providing market insights on trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs.
- Collaborate with Business Development teams across other regions and business areas to deliver coordinated and consistent customer experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts, provide regular pipeline visibility and ensure data integrity across CRM and reporting tools.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Fluent in English (required); Spanish proficiency highly desirable.
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in sales and business development, ideally within commodity chemicals, ingredients, or adjacent industries in the personal care and food industry, with focus on vegetable oils.
- Proven experience in account management and business development across international markets, with a focus on APAC.
- Willingness and ability to travel 50%+ of the time, subject to business needs.

- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate market opportunities into commercial agreements.
Pay and Benefits
The estimated base pay for this position is EUR 95,000 annually. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, qualifications, skills and geographic location.
