Global Commercial Finance Director | Supply Chain Tech - SaaS | London | £DOE + Bonus + Equity

We're partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed supply chain and procurement technology business who have grown ARR by over 40% in the past two years. The platform helps mid-market and enterprise customers internationally manage supplier risk, freight visibility, and procurement compliance. Backed by an established growth-focused PE fund, the company continues to expand through product innovation, international growth, and selective acquisitions. Note - ad-hoc travel to Germany will be required.

As Global Commercial Finance Director, you'll join the senior leadership team as a key strategic partner to the CEO, CFO, and investors, shaping commercial strategy, driving performance across the business, and supporting long-term value creation. A highly competitive salary and equity package is available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a close commercial partner to product, sales and marketing leaders, using customer and revenue data to sharpen pricing, retention and growth decisions
  • Take ownership of the annual planning cycle and rolling forecasts, translating commercial assumptions into a credible financial plan for the CFO and Board
  • Build and stress-test models covering new markets, contract structures and investment cases, giving leadership a clear view of risk and return
  • Track the health of recurring revenue - ARR, churn, NRR, LTV/CAC - and turn that insight into practical actions for the commercial teams
  • Own the quarterly investor reporting cycle, translating operational performance into a clear, credible commercial narrative for the Board and shareholders
  • Mature the finance function's tools, systems and ways of working as the business scales, reducing manual effort and improving data reliability
  • Recruit, develop and manage a growing commercial finance and Group FP&A team, setting the standard for how the function operates day to day
  • Get involved in wider corporate projects as they arise, from acquisitions to ad hoc investor requests, bringing rigour and pace to each one

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
