Join us at Karo Healthcare on our exciting journey. We're currently looking for a Content Director for our office in Maidenhead.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead content strategy across priority brands, campaigns and omnichannel activation plans
  • Define content ecosystems that support brand growth across paid, owned and earned channels
  • Translate brand platforms and media strategies into high-performing, channel-specific content
  • Partner closely with Creative, Design, Media and Brand teams to deliver distinctive and commercially effective campaigns
  • Develop frameworks, briefing standards and scalable ways of working to improve content quality and efficiency
  • Drive content excellence across social, digital, e-commerce, CRM, shopper marketing and video
  • Use insights, analytics and performance data to continuously optimise creative effectiveness
  • Build scalable and modular content systems that improve speed, consistency and ROI across markets
  • Lead and develop Content Managers while fostering a strong collaborative content community across Karo
  • Manage and influence external agencies, production partners and freelancers to ensure high-quality delivery
  • Champion innovation in content production, including AI, automation and emerging technologies
  • Support content operations, workflow governance, budget optimisation and KPI delivery across the Centre of Excellence

Requirements

  • Significant senior-level experience within content strategy, creative leadership, campaign development or content production
  • Strong background in FMCG, consumer healthcare, retail or other fast-moving consumer-focused industries
  • Proven experience developing integrated content strategies across digital and omnichannel environments
  • Deep understanding of paid, owned and earned media ecosystems, including social, e-commerce, video and CRM
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to connect creative output to business and media objectives
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience influencing senior leaders across matrix organisations
  • Strong creative judgement and the ability to provide clear, constructive feedback across content formats
  • Experience leading teams and developing talent within fast-paced, international organisations
  • Knowledge of content operations, localisation, modular content systems and scalable asset creation
  • Familiarity with performance measurement, analytics and content optimisation approaches
  • Interest in AI, automation and new technologies shaping modern content creation
  • Fluent professional English; additional European languages are a plus
