GLOBAL CYBER SECURITY ENGINEER

Protect Critical Infrastructure for a Leading International Energy Business

The Opportunity

UGI International is seeking an experienced Global Cyber Security Engineer to join our Cybersecurity function. Working under the direction of our Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Manager, you will help protect the software and hardware systems that underpin our operations across UGI's international business units.

This is a hands-on, technically rich role at the heart of our security operation. You will take day-to-day ownership of our core security toolset, contribute to our risk assessment and governance programme, and work closely with IT teams across the business to identify, track and remediate security risks.

What Makes This Role Special

  • Broad technical exposure: work across a full stack of industry-leading security tools, from SIEM/XDR and endpoint protection through to vulnerability management and exposure management
  • Genuine ownership: take responsibility for administering and optimising the tools and processes that keep the business secure, with real input into how they evolve
  • International scope: operate within a global cybersecurity programme (GISG), collaborating with colleagues across UGI International's business units
  • Professional development: we support continued growth in your cybersecurity career, including relevant certifications and qualifications

What You Will Be Doing

Security Operations & Tooling

  • Administer and optimise UGI's security toolset, including Taegis, CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, Zscaler, Rapid7, KnowBe4, Phish ER, Axonius, WASP/OCP and Security Scorecard
  • Work with Azure/O365 and Entra ID, including conditional access policies and MFA enforcement
  • Analyse results from scheduled scanning and reporting, tracking issues through to resolution

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
