Join a market-leading Debt Capital Markets team covering Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, where you will gain end-to-end transaction exposure and meaningful client access early on. As an Analyst or Associate in the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa Debt Capital Markets team, you will advise sovereign, corporate and financial institution clients on financing solutions across public and private markets. You will support transactions across investment grade, high yield, bank capital and Environmental, Social and Governance debt products, from origination through pricing and closing. You will partner closely with senior bankers and work side-by-side with teams across coverage, legal, credit risk, syndicate and sales to deliver excellent outcomes for clients. You will contribute to new bond issuance and liability management activity, including buybacks, exchanges, and covenant amendments. You will bring analytical rigor, strong execution discipline, and a client-first mindset to every assignment.
Job responsibilities
- Originate, structure, and execute debt capital markets transactions in partnership with senior team members and deal leaders
- Manage the transaction execution process, including documentation, approvals, and timelines
- Prepare pitch books, client materials, and regular market updates
- Support pricing and transaction marketing processes in coordination with internal partners
- Participate in client meetings and help advance ongoing dialogue and relationship coverage
- Build analytical overviews of clients, sectors, and financing alternatives
- Maintain internal databases and support occasional team administrative needs

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Front-office experience in investment banking, asset management, or markets
- Understanding of corporate finance, macroeconomic drivers, and debt capital markets instruments
- Demonstrated experience performing financial analysis and synthesizing insights for senior audiences
- Interest in emerging markets and cross-border capital markets activity
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines with strong attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with infrastructure or project finance transactions
- Fluency in Arabic, French and/or Russian
- Experience using Bloomberg and/or capital markets databases (e.g., Bond Radar, Dealogic)
This role encompasses the performance of regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the relevant regulatory authorities to carry out such activities
