About the Role

Zenith fosters evidence-led growth, guiding brands through the customer journey via data, technology, and innovation. We’re seeking a Digital Associate Director to join our global Essity team—partnering with a world leader in hygiene and health solutions (brands such as Viva La Vulva, Periodsomnia, and tissue products).

This high-visibility, leadership-focused role allows you to define digital strategy, drive transformations, and amplify Essity’s performance across regions. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, shaping innovative campaigns, channel activation, and tech-enabled transformation for a purpose-driven global portfolio.

Responsibilities

As Digital Associate Director, you will:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and present integrated digital strategies for global and regional initiatives, ensuring alignment with Essity’s brand objectives.
  • Guide channel recommendations and activation strategies across platforms like Meta, Google, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Translate data, performance metrics, and consumer insights into actionable strategies to drive Essity’s growth.

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of digital projects, managing stakeholders and coordinating with internal and external teams (strategy, operations, creative, search, media).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior Essity clients, building and maintaining collaborative relationships.

Innovation & Industry Expertise

  • Stay ahead of emerging trends, technologies (e.g. AI-driven attribution, privacy-leading tools), and platform evolutions, recommending opportunities to Essity.
  • Partner with Cutting-edge startups in media tech or commerce to enhance solutions.
  • Leverage 30+ years of media planning expertise to create forward-thinking, accountable digital experiences.

What You’ll Need

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in client-facing digital strategy/planning/media roles within agencies (3+ years minimal).
  • Strong client management skills, excelling at scoping, leading, and pitching high-impact strategic projects.
  • Deep understanding of the digital ecosystem—platforms (e.g., DV360, Google Campaign Manager, Meta Ads Manager), audience behaviors, and advanced data tools.
  • Her/he’ll thrive in presenting data-driven insights to senior stakeholders with clarity and conviction.
  • Methodical approach to collaboration, balancing partnerships across agency functions and third-party specialists.

Advantageous Experience

  • Global or FMCG/CPG background, particularly in purpose-driven brands like Essity’s.
  • Hands-on experience with programmatic trading, data activation, or CTV-scale campaigns.
  • Industry exposure to DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) transformations or portfolio optimizations (via hardware, brand, or activation teams).
