Job Title: Global EHS Manager, Global Behavioural Safety Specialist - Manufacturing

Location: UK/Europe remote (with international travel)

Who We Are & Why This Role Matters

We make high-performance carbon products that end up in some seriously demanding applications—think aerospace, energy, industrial kit, and even NASA’s Artemis II mission. Yep, some of our materials are literally going into space and taking on re-entry heat that would melt pretty much everything else.

That means safety isn’t negotiable. Not just compliance-level safety, but cultures and behaviours that genuinely keep people and processes safe. That’s where you come in.

Responsibilities

The Role

You’ll wear two hats:

  • Global Safety Culture Lead: Drive behavioural safety and a positive safety culture across all Performance Carbon sites worldwide.
  • Finishing EHS Manager: Own the EHS agenda for our Finishing manufacturing network—making sure strategy isn’t just a PowerPoint deck but something people follow on the shop floor.

This isn’t a clipboard job. It’s strategy, coaching, governance, and making sure good practice spreads faster than bad habits.

Some of what you'll do:

  • Lead and evolve Behavioural Safety and Safety Culture programmes globally.
  • Partner with site and regional leaders to embed human performance principles in day-to-day ops.
  • Provide full-spectrum EHS leadership for the Finishing manufacturing network.
  • Share best practice across sites; spot gaps and close them.
  • Manage governance for all EHS activities within your remit.
  • Act as trusted advisor and sometimes challenger to senior stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • A career that’s included progressive EHS leadership in a global, manufacturing-heavy world.
